10 Minute Fall Fruit Salad

10 Minute Fall Fruit Salad

A 10 Minute Fall Fruit Salad made from hearty seasonal produce and a lemon-honey dressing that brings out all that Autumn has to offer.

This recipe has a very simple explanation as to where my inspiration came from.

1 – I tend to start eating less healthy as the weather gets colder, and I wanted something that provided good nutrition, seasonal flavors, all without killing my energy levels. Can anyone else relate?

2 – I love the flavors of apples and pears, but find them hard to work with because of the browning factor. So I was determined to solve this problem and use these beautiful fruits in a recipe. Which I successfully accomplished using lemon juice then combining it with honey and cinnamon for a sweet and warm element to the dish.

The Lineup:

Apples: I used small Gala apples, but any variety will do

Pears: I used Bartlett, but again anything you have will work fine

Red Grapes: I used red mostly to add some more color, but feel free to sub green

Pomegranate: Seeding your own is most cost effective, but time consuming. If you buy it already seeded use about 1/2 cup

Lemon Juice: Fresh is always best!

Honey: ummmmmm yeah honey! haha! Use whatever you’ve got, raw if you have it

Cinnamon: This is what takes the salad to the next level, so trust me, don’t skip the cinnamon!

The method to this salad is really simple, it’s just chop and toss!

I kept the pieces small so they are toddler friendly, you could certainly have a larger chop or even get creative and cut fun shapes! Whatever floats your boat.

This 10 Minute Fall Fruit Salad is best served immediately and eaten within a few hours. The lemon juice does help the browning, but doesn’t eliminate it completely.

  1. Hi the salad looks delicious. I can’t want to try it. I have a unrelated question how did you get the recipe part on the bottom. I have some recipes on mine and would like to do that also. Is it a plug in?
